Student Support & Special Programs

The Office of Student Support Services and Special Programs as part of The Stamford Public Schools is responsible for coordinating student support services and initiatives on behalf of our students, families and the community. These initiatives promote parent and student engagement, family learning and the Social Emotional Learning curriculum (SEL). These tools address the development, implementation and supervising alternate education programs. In addition the office, in conjunction with the Office of Human Capital Development, facilitate recruitment & supervision of Special Education teachers, Speech and Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, Social Workers and School Counselors.
